Welcome to the Fansite of Treharris Phoenix RFC. Treharris Phoenix RFC is a newly created rugby team in the Merthyr Tydfil valley. Although we have only been playing since August 2009, the team has seen HUGE support from both players and supporters alike. I have created this website because of my love of rugby, and of Treharris.
We are now in the Pre-season of our 2nd season together , and we are glad to see the dedication of our players, coaches and management. Numbers are growing every week in training, and with the addition of Paul Barnes and Steven parry helping Badger with coaching, this season will see us reach new heights. We have been entered into the Rhondda and East Glamorgan Division 1 Central league, and we are expecting this to be a challenging season. We have alot of good teams to take on, but with the commitment of the players, the expertise of Barry, Paul and Steven, and the EXCELLENT team management we have been receiving from Gary Evans, Mark Bridges and everyone else behind the scences, We are very capable of placing high in the league. Please feel free to come and support us, and New players are always welcome!
I need all players information as soon as possible to sort out profiles. Individual pictures will be taken on our first match so please all try to be there. I need your name, height, age and position for now
